OUR MISSION
Most of us don't know what it really means to be hungry. We have pantries and cupboards and refrigerators full of food and our choice isn't IF we're going to eat but WHAT we're going to eat.
For most of us, going to the store on a weekly basis and buying enough food for our household is an ability that we often take for granted. For many households in our community, though, that ability is not a reality.
We're dedicated to easing the pain of hunger in our community by partnering with area schools and counseling agencies to help hungry families one child at a time. How do we help? Simple. We provide food. We believe the responsibility of eradicating hunger in any community falls not on a few but on the many. It requires a group effort. Join us on the path we're walking and get involved.

- According to the USDA, Oklahoma ranks eighth in the nation in the number of people per capita who are hungry. We are seventh in the nation in those who are food insecure, which means that the food intake of some household members is reduced and normal eating patterns disrupted because the household lacks money and other resources for food.
- The percentage of Oklahoma's population classified as food insecure is 13.0 percent, well above the national average of 11.3.
- One in every five Oklahoma children lives in poverty and is at risk of going to bed hungry.
