JOIN THE STREET TEAM!
What’s a street team, you ask? It’s a group of people who will
work with us to champion our organization and its actions. What does
that entail? Simple things really. Helping us get the word out about
events and the like by reposting/retweeting statuses and
announcements, being involved in any events (fund raising and the
like) we have planned this year, getting other people to join the
Facebook group or mailing list, or buying a shirt and/or bracelet to
become a walking billboard. See? Simple. There are a couple of
qualifications you have to meet though to fit this position:

- The ability to talk to people about who we are and what we do in a clear, direct manner.
- Have a somewhat large circle of influence. If you only have 20 Facebook friends and don’t even use Twitter or any other form of social media, this probably isn’t the right spot for you. But if you’re willing to use your social media circle of influence for the greater good then let’s talk.
